We are Systems, LLC a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
Job SummaryAs a Production Planner, you are expected to prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs; track issues for production plans and KPIs, and review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 0 - 2 years of manufacturing or materials experience
- Familiar with production environment
- Working knowledge of MRP systems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Practical knowledge of Syteline
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel specifically)
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly plans for Final product and/or sub-assemblies and track KPIs
- Track issues for production plans and KPIs
- Review and execute exception message proposals in Syteline to maintain proper production priorities
- Analyze the capacity of the work centers and the load requirements by level to ensure that the production program is met and that it is efficient
- Perform raw material and sub-assembly availability checks
- Attend and present at production meetings where problems are discussed and resolved, to ensure that the program is followed
- Provide prioritization for raw material or finished good release
- Establish and maintain relationships with Purchasing, Material flow, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to ensure production plans are met
- Release production orders for re-work; monitor inventory levels
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
